Creating Impact with Purpose Series
Video 3: Breathing into Leadership
If you haven’t watched the first two videos of the Creating Impact with Purpose Series, you can watch the first video here and the second video here.
In this third video, Andrea Bordenca shows you how to connect and engage with others instead of being in a reactive state. Being able to engage through connection is the unavoidable ingredient to shift the results of a team, organization, company, your career, or results in the world.
We’d love to hear your thoughts! What new questions are showing up for you? Please share below what is being provoked, and the areas that you are not yet quite sure about.
Shifting of assessments to look for possibilities.
Vulnerability is seen as a sign of weakness.
Beautiful thoughts.
Andrea,
Thank you for gifting these examples, stories and practices for all of us.
Jan Irene! Thank you for your feedback and for tuning in. I know how lucky I am to be on this path with you. Thanks for being there right next to me.
I related to the examples Andrea has shown. My assessments:
– Working a team: I feel a ease bringing the knowledge and experience of the team. They have the solution, the will discover and own it.
– I tend not to ask when I have been assigned. I research for it. My assessment: I am vulnerable if I cannot find the solution
– Assessment: I am (try to be) principle driven; strive to develop trust and integrate people (actually is my in CV). This one align closely with the assessment you invite us to adopt. I am leader who builds trust…
I am enthusiastic of how the practices your are showing to us will be of great help in leveraging my skills. I try to practice 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and Principle Centered Leadership.
YES! I love what you are sharing here – congratulations on being on your path to leadership mastery. If I can be of service, please consider me your network of help – my email:
