Creating Impact with Purpose Series
Video 1: Results Come from People
In this first video of the Creating Impact with Purpose Series, Andrea Bordenca speaks about her experience with blindness in a new role. Although this is specific to her experience, the conversational practice she demonstrates can be applied to any relationship you are in.
We’d love to read your comments! Please share below your takeaways, the questions that are provoked, and the areas that you are not yet quite sure about. There is much more to be explored in the forthcoming videos!
Very relatable examples. Looking forward to hearing more.

Thank you for this, I am so happy our paths crossed, looking forward to seeing you soon!
Andrea,
very good video, we always give priority to our customers depending on the emergency situation we sometimes put ourselves and the techs under too much pressure which is not not good. I learnt from Ignacio ( my manager) that sometimes when we have a difficult situation I ask the assigned tech how does he feel in performing the service to that specific unit, and determine if he feels confident to do it. Unless there is no other option we make sure technicians are also capable and in the right mood to handle the job to avoid frustrations.
Thank you always for supporting your team.

Anett,
You are truly an embodiment of Generative Leadership. I see DESCO as an example of Generative Leadership in action and we are always in practice.
Thank you for bringing humanity to your role! In gratitude, Andrea
