Landing Zone Webinar:
Resilience through Breakthroughs
What is the Landing Zone?
The landing zone is a place to build learning embodiment.
When a plane lands, there is a bit of turbulence before the stability of the ground is felt. That stability is the learning in action. And just like finding a firm ground, many of us enter into a new phase, a new relationship, a new role, or any new situation with a bit of shakiness. This is all a part of the learning process.
During this webinar, we are inviting you to a community of practice!
We will explore how to identify and declare breakdowns so we can build resilience through action.
Webinar: Resilience and Breakthroughs
In the generative discourse, a breakdown is an interruption that breaks the flow. This could be losing your job, getting a flat tire, or a global pandemic. It is an event that requires coping.
The way we deal with external events is a result of our individual interpretations. Have you ever noticed that two people have a different response to the same situation? It is not the situation that determines how we respond to it, it is our history of interpretations that we have embodied. In generative learning and leadership, we practice shifting from historical interpretations that don’t serve us to actionable outcomes that produce breakthroughs.
Coronavirus created a disruption in our planning and our daily routine. The fact is disruptions and breakdowns happen all the time; coronavirus is an obvious one that we can all relate to. A powerful leadership and life skill is learning to identify breakdowns and learning to create possibilities, rather than experiencing breakdowns as insurmountable failures. This is how resilience is built.
In this two-hour webinar, join Andrea Bordenca and Barbara Key to practice navigating breakdowns.
