Live Events

The Institute for Generative Leadership is hosting a number of live events open to leaders and coaches in organizations.

You can attend either virtual Q&A events or in-person, local events. Q&A events are a complimentary conversation with Director of Client Engagement and coach, Chris Beauchamp. During these events, you can ask questions about your own professional development in leadership and coaching, as well as the Institute’s programs and workshops and how they may be relevant to you.  Local events are designed to create a community with other fellow leaders and coaches to discuss the most pressing issues you face while being supported with professionals in the generative community that can share learning from their work in the generative discourse.

The Leader’s Forum – Master the Mess

The Maxwell Hotel
300 Roy Street
Seattle, WA 98109

Are workplace silos, politics, and miscommunication getting in the way of organizational excellence, no matter how well you manage the work itself? Are you looking for ways to better deal with the ‘messiness’ of human interactions?

Instead of just trying to change the people, we invite you to experiment with the power of your own listening. It’s amazing what good listening can do to change the game, especially in difficult conversations.

This two-hour workshop will have you taking away key listening skills to:

  • Break through the mess
  • Get real about what matters
  • Find constructive ways forward

We hope you’ll come join us! Feel free to invite your friends who are leaders and coaches to register as well.

The Leader’s Forum – The Structure of Leadership Coordination

Colorado Lending Source
1441 18th Street
Denver, CO 80202

The leadership forums convene some of the top leaders in cities across the U.S.

In this complimentary Leadership Forum in Denver, we’ll continue the discussion from the previous forum on tuning leadership language and identifying moves that shift the results you are able to produce with your teams. We’ll walk through four non-discretionary stages of coordination, and see how to become more effective customers for the commitments of our teams.

Objectives:

  1. To leverage the creativity, experience, and expertise of diverse and dedicated professionals by sharing ideas that may open new perspectives and challenge our assumptions about leadership and teams.
  2. To explore how conversations shape action and results and what effective coordination looks like.
  3. To meet and connect with people who share similar interests in effective leadership and productive teams.

We hope you can join the conversation. You are welcome to invite others with an ambition for meaningful leadership.
