About this Live Learning Session
Common sense tells us that we need to tell people about our offer in order to get them to yes. It tells us that if we uncover a prospect or client’s concerns or “pain point” they will be more likely accept our solution. And yet, research shows that only 53% of sales people meet their quota.
During this 75-minute virtual conversation, you’ll learn two uncommon skills you can begin to use in your next client or prospect conversation.
- How to observe mood and
- Shift your orientation.
A person’s mood is the number one predictor of whether they will take action or not. You’ll learn how to begin to observe people’s moods in a pragmatic way so that you improve the likelihood your offer is accepted. In addition to this you’ll begin to learn language that will shift your conversations from me/product/solution centric to client-centric. People who apply these skills tell us clients buy sooner and they are more likely to achieve their revenue goals.

If you are a business development professional or an individual performer, who holds a revenue promise to yourself or someone else, and would like to produce that result sooner, this learning might be for you.

Duane Spivey is the cofounder of Relevance, LLC, which provides marketing, sales, and client service coaching to entrepreneurs and corporate leaders who think like entrepreneurs. Before coaching sales leaders, business development professionals and entrepreneurs, Duane was responsible for building and leading sales teams for five different companies over a 12-year period. At three of these companies his teams produced double digital sales growth in less than 24 months.

Barbara holds is certified in The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People and The Four Roles of Leadership from FranklinCovey. She also holds certification in Crucial Conversations from the Vital Smarts Company and a certificate in personal and professional coaching from the Newfield Network.
